I think the interview process was very fair. They asked a lot of behavioral questions and snuck in some technical questions as well. I could tell they were trying to see if I was a good match for their group culture, and if I was eloquent enough to work and instruct technicians

I was pretty nervous and was asked to explain how an SEM microscope worked. My brain went blank! They definitely wanted to see how I could explain concepts across different fields and people.

It is the first round of interview, it is a combination of technical and behavior questions. She said it will take 2-3 weeks to determine who will enter the second round since there are too many candidates

Screening call, interview with manufacturing manager, interview with engineers, onsite tour/interview. Not a lot of technical questions. They had me drive 3+ hours for an on-site interview, but I didn't get an offer.

Interviews were simple and people seemed pleasant, but I went through four rounds of interviews spanning almost a month, and was ghosted afterward. Even after sending follow-up emails, I was completely ignored.
