I was contacted by a recruiter for an Agentic AI Engineer role that required Java expertise. I had asked for a job description so I could prepare accordingly but the recruiter said there is no JD as of now. To my surprise, the interview that followed had nothing to do with Agentic AI or the skills they claimed to be looking for. Instead, it was based on JDBC and exception handling questions that didn’t match the role at all. The disconnect between what was advertised and what was asked made it feel the interviewer and recruiter were just doing time pass.
Beyond that, even after answering most of the questions accurately, I received an automated rejection mail in less than an hour, which made it obvious the decision was never based on the interview itself. The entire experience came across as disorganized, inconsistent and careless toward any applicants time. Anyone considering interviewing this bs company should be aware of these red flags before investing their time and effort.
