I was invited to a mingling session after 6:00 PM on a weeknight. There were around 15 of us invited. We stood around the office making small talk for a couple of hours. At the end they sat us down and told us that there weren’t any open roles, it had just been an experiment for them to try out a new way of hiring people. Massive waste of time and I got my hopes up for nothing.
