J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez MedRisk en oct. 2021

      Entretien

This interview was for a .Net application developer for their insurance processing software. The interview was roughly thirty minutes over zoom with three people from the company. The interview covered basic questions regarding C# programming and SQL development. There was some time left where I was able to ask some questions about the company, it’s culture and technology stack. Overall, the interview itself was pleasant and I felt confident that I did well. At the end of the interview, they stated that they would get back to my recruiter in about a week with feedback and a decision if they want to move forward on my candidacy. Four weeks later, there was never any follow up, they closed the position on their websites, and I was told by my recruiter that they ghosted him on every attempt for feedback. To be honest, I’m okay if they felt like I was not a good fit for the position, or if they found someone else and decided to move forward. However, the decision to ghost job-candidates and recruitment firms is unprofessional. It would only take five minutes of effort to send a follow up. If I was a professional recruiter, I re-consider doing business with them. This review is a warning that Medrisk will ghost jobseekers. This speaks volumes as software development professionals – because they said that they would follow up and failed to deliver, so imagine what other software development projects their team would fail to commit on. Furthermore, the company scheduled the interview, made the decision, and decided to not communicate anything to the other parties says that the company is only willing to work with other parties only for what they want. However, when there isn’t anything left to gain for Medrisk, they would disregard the needs for the other party, even if fulfilling the other party’s need would only require the energy from a five-minute email. Imagine if this is how Medrisk does business as an insurance company: eager to work with you when they want to you to purchase into insurance plans but dead silence when you need to follow a claim. Sometime to think about.
