The process was quite common. First, I had an interview with someone from the HR department. After she explained to me about the company and I introduced myself, We agreed on stepping forward.
The second interview was with someone from the tech team. It was a fun interview. We introduced ourselves, talked about tech stuff that is going on on Maze, I was curious about how they solve a few things, and apart from talking about tech stuff, I also did a basic LIVE React exercise where, even though I didn't have to do it, I explained everything I was doing and what assumptions I made.
The third interview was with a company that provides tech interviews as a service. Tons of short question-answers, a few long ones, and a practical exercise at the end.
The last interview was with the CEO. I loved the interview. We introduced ourselves, talked a bit about our personal lives, and we jumped in to discuss a few product-related stuff, how I would solve a few problems they currently have, which are my thoughts into some other stuff, etc.
Had to mention that a person I know works at Maze so made a referral, even though the process is the same, I wanted to mention that.
