Three sessions; interviewed with a recruiter and then three senior leaders in the department. The screening and first interview went well. Basic questions about my qualifications and a deep dive with the Director to ensure that my experience aligned with the role. There were 2-3 weeks between interviews. I planned to decline further meetings after my last interview (not bad, just did not feel I would be a fit), but I never got a follow up call or email.

Entretien
The interview process was longer than initially communicated and involved multiple rounds over several weeks. Some conversations were engaging and insightful, while others were more challenging due to varying expectations across interviewers.
While the role was presented as focusing on HR partnership and strategic support, it became clearer later in the process that the team may have been prioritizing candidates with more of a deployment or operational implementation background. That emphasis wasn’t fully reflected in the original job description, which made alignment a bit difficult.
Overall, the interviewers were professional and the organization seems to have strong internal standards. However, the process could benefit from clearer communication around the scope of the role and the type of background the team is ultimately seeking.
