I received a call the next morning, but the number displayed as spam. As a result, I didn't answer it. However, they continued to call, so eventually, I decided to pick up the phone. It turned out to be a recruiter, but I found her unprofessional because she did not take time zones into account. Despite that, she sent me the job description for a contract job. During the phone interview, she asked me unprofessional questions, such as my graduation date and my birthday, to gauge my age range. I could tell she was new to the recruiting process. I passed the initial phone interview and was moved on to the next one with the client. They said they would get back to me the following week. Between the initial phone call and the client interview, she called me multiple times during the day all hours of the day and asked for feedback on the interview. I was optimistic about my chances of getting the job offer. However, she never followed up with me, so I reached out to her, and she said she would call me back soon. Nevertheless, I got ghosted, and someone else from the company messaged me a few months later about the same position. I suppose they are still trying to fill that position, but I feel fortunate that I dodged a bullet. Very unprofessional.
