Applied online and got a response from the recruiting co-ordinater. The first four rounds were good interviews that lasted 30 mins each. It was a mixed of technical and "fit" type questions. I was supposed to hear back after two weeks but was ghosted , then they reached out after a couple of months to schedule another round. This was already a red flag but I still went ahead to interview with the hiring manager. I had a great conversation and soon got a verbal offer but after two weeks , I received a call that they cannot offer me the role because this position Requires to be a hybrid in their texas or California offices and they did not want to relocate anyone. This is very unprofessional and they should have known this prior to wasting 4 months of my time in interviews.
