I had an initial interview that I felt went very well, but the interviewer was clearly reading questions off of a list. There's nothing wrong with that, per se, but it didn't feel like a natural conversation. I was told I would hear something one way or another within a week; when I didn't, I followed up with an email and never heard another word since.
