Interview was almost 1 hour with a lot of questions about myself, my experience, my career goals, my portfolio, possible scenarios etc. I found the communication from hr very unorganised. I got to the second round and was sent a technical test. I was told to ask any questions when I noticed things that should have been provided for the test weren’t. My questions were unanswered for a number of days and when I eventually received the “files” for the test it was a link to an interview they had with another candidate. After asking again I finally received the files. I did not make it to the next round after this test. I was sent a short email saying I was unsuccessful without any feedback as to why. The test took a significant amount of time and energy to complete, be aware if you are designer that you will be asked to do this work for free without any promise of a job.

Initial interview was alright, the HR person and I had a lovely chat. She described the role and I understood immediately what they needed. The reviews about the superiors are true, even though I haven't met them at that stage, but I can explain why it will be a place that is not very fun to be part of: After the first interview, I got an email saying that I am approved for second interview, we booked the call for next week, and with 8-10 hours before the interview, I receive an email around 11pm, with the cancellation of the call, and in the morning I received an email saying that the scope of the role changed, and that I am probably over qualified for this position. I had this before, and I know why, maybe this will help other designers in the future. People who run the business NEED to have their fingers in all the pies... and they will not allow someone to challenge their tastes or opinions. It wasn't about the money... because the HR was ok with the amount I wanted /year. So in case you get this reply, it's not about you, it's about how toxic the superiors are. Imagine working from them, and you get a message around 10pm from your boss, saying you need to cancel an interview because I just realised he is not what we need :))) Cool environment... NOT
