Title: Disappointing Interview Experience at MarketAxess I recently had an interview experience with MarketAxess that left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. While the technical screening was satisfactory, the lack of professionalism and communication between the interviewer and the recruiter was highly unimpressive. Firstly, I would like to highlight the significant issue of the interviewer not showing up for the scheduled interview not just once, but twice in a row. As a candidate, I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but the complete absence of any communication or apology was highly unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. It gave me the impression that my candidacy was not valued or respected. Furthermore, the recruiter who initially reached out to me seemed responsive and enthusiastic about the role. However, following the scheduling of the interview, there was no response whatsoever to my follow-up emails. It is disheartening to invest time and effort in preparing for an interview and not receive any acknowledgment or communication from the recruiting team. This lack of follow-through reflects poorly on the company's commitment to candidate experience and leaves a negative impression. On a positive note, the technical screening process was well-conducted, and I had a constructive discussion with the technical interviewer. It was evident that they possessed the necessary knowledge and expertise to evaluate my skills effectively. Unfortunately, this positive aspect of the interview experience was overshadowed by the lack of professionalism displayed by the other parties involved. In conclusion, my interview experience with MarketAxess was marred by the repeated absence of the interviewer and the complete silence from the recruiter. This lack of communication and professionalism left me feeling disheartened and undervalued as a candidate. I sincerely hope that MarketAxess addresses these issues to improve its interview process and provide a more positive experience for future candidates.
