The recruitment process that I experienced were two rounds: 1. Phone screening from HR: The phone screening was pleasant, with standard questions. The HR was very professional and communicative regarding the position and kept me up to date regarding the process. 2. Interviews with 2 managers: This interview was not very professional. Only one manager was paying attention, and was the person asking the questions; the other manager did not pay attention at all, and you can tell they are working on something else and not listening. Very concerning signs for me about the interview were how exhausted, distracted the managers look even at the start of the interview. In addition, they mentioned up front that over time was needed for the position at beginning of the month and ending of the month. Due to misalignment in what I am seeking in a position, I did not continue with the process.

This job, it's not as hard as it may look; first, they will screen you, and HR will ask you a little bit about yourself.
The problem with the company is not the job. It's more of a toxic work environment and unrealistic expectations. HR is also lazy and expects to pay you so little for a job that sometimes requires two separate positions. When I worked at Manulife, they were willing to pay me 13k more than my previous salary to work with them, but for this job, they offered me 60k-65k. At first, I told them 72k, but they later said they could not afford that because this is their "budget." I also asked HR previously how they would handle conflicts, and they replied, "you have to get along with your team."
One more thing, HR contacted me in August, and they did not schedule an interview until September, when they ran out of qualified candidates. Basically, they kept me waiting until they finished interviewing everyone.
