Spent over 8 hours over the course of three weeks on various phone interviews and a lengthy 3 hour in person interview with several different team members in the Denver office. They said after the in person that "The top candidate would go through a final call with the VP in New York, and they'd make a decision rather quickly." I got the call with the VP in New York, which ended with a number of positive things said about my skills aligning with the position. I basically expected a call back after spending so much of my personal time prepping for, and going through this lengthy interview process. Weeks passed....... didn't hear a peep. Not a "Thanks but no thanks- we've decided to go a different direction", NOTHING. Supremely unprofessional and extremely disrespectful to candidates time that they spend trying to add value to the organization. Over 5 weeks after the in person, I got a canned response from the application engine online saying they were "No longer recruiting for the position". That's something you send to an applicant who doesn't get an interview, not someone who spent hours upon hours of their time interviewing with 10+ people from your organization.
