Was told I would be interviewing with my hiring manager and a sales director. Only the sales director showed up— immediate red flag for me— does sales rule over everything?
Naturally he wanted concrete examples of how I was going to immediately deliver x and y and didn’t seem to appreciate my stance on ensuring everyone is aligned on what value looks like and how we measure it. I didn’t think too too much since he said I’d meet with the hiring manager next.
Next day rejection letter. Total bait and switch. Shows a real lack of professionalism and awareness.
