Sent in an application online. Was contact by the hiring manager. Came in for the interview. They were pretty standard interview questions. They said they would be in touch in a few days. They called, and I accepted the position.

Meeting was with the location's sales manager. Sat in the commons area before opening hours. Interview was simple and quick. Mediocre text based communication in the setup process for the initial meeting and no communication since the interview.

Long and difficult. They were very unclear about expectations/salary. Come to find out it is barely above minimum wage for an “admin” position. Waste of time. Would not recommend ! Can tell they pay other positions badly if not worse.

Generally unimpressed with the interview process, and it was was very unorganized. A phone interview was scheduled first; however, 15 minutes before I received an email saying the hiring manager "had lost track of time" and needed to reschedule the interview. They were willing to reschedule, so I was understanding and fine with this.
When I had the opportunity to speak with the hiring manager, the conversation was all over the place. They were unable to explain to me the daily tasks -- only that the job involved answering phones and directing calls. Going in, I understood there would be some cross-training/ unpredictable daily tasks due to new operations and the COVID-19 pandemic, but the extremely vague job description I was given on the phone interview did not line up with the job I thought I was interviewing for. The job description should have more clearly updated to reflect these responsibilities before posting on their website.
At the end of the interview, it was described they would only be contacting me if they were interested in moving forward. After thinking more about this unprofessional statement, I decided I would not want to work for a company that believed in 'ghosting' candidates whether I was to advance or not. After taking the time out of multiple days (due to the reschedule) the idea that it was too difficult for the employer to complete a simple, quick task such as sending a follow-up email speaks volumes about their work culture and how employees are treated, if hired.
