      Entretien

      *Round 1* There were 2 coding questions and 15 technical MCQs.Out of 55 students 3 were shortlisted for the next round.After this we were made to fill our details and asked to write an essay on the topic "Selling mirrors to the blind" which were to be assessed in our HR interview.Since only 3 were shorlisted after the first round we were called at their Gurgaon office for the interview process *Round 2* This was a technical interview which lastest for about 30-45 mins. They asked me to introduce myself first. They asked random questions covering all of the subjects like DBMS,OS,OOP,DS, Networking and language based questions. Some questions were: 1.What do you know about statements in DBMS? 2.Made me write queries in MySQL. 3.What is the difference between JDK and JVM. 4.What is the difference between Java and C++? 5.What is virtual memory? 6.All oops concepts and questions related to it 7.How can we use the methods of a class without creating an object? 8.Whats the difference between class and object? 9.Tell us about some linux commands. 10.What is trigger in DBMS? 11.What are the specifications of your laptop and what does each stand for? 12.Difference between stacks and queue and their real world application. 13.What is the use of static keyword in oops? 14.What is the use of super keyword? 15.How does garbage collection work in java and C++? 16.Suppose we are given a program that is endlessly running ,how will garbage collection work in such a scenario? 17. What is 3 tier client server architecture? 18. When is single tier client server architecture used? 19. What is the difference between drop delete and truncate? 20. Write queries to create,update,delete a table. 21.What is the latest version of java in the market? 22.Which company owns java? Rest questions were based off my resume and my projects *Round 3* This was an HR interview.He went through ny resume and asked me to tell him something about myself. He went through my essay and discussed the same. He asked some general knowledge based questions like: 1.why is the USA called United States of America? 2.What do you know about the civil war and world war II? 3.What was Holocaust? 4.How do you define fun? He questioned me on my hobbies.I had sketching and drawing mentioned so he asked me to draw something on the whiteboard. I had mentioned korean language so he asked me to write something in korean too. He then asked me about my view on partying(this was something really random and the further conversation was based on it) He also asked me about my goals in life. And my expectations from comviva.

      Have 3-4 rounds, Interview Technical and Interview HR. Coding, Verbal Ability, and Reasoning are tuff as well. So, prepare DBMS, DSA, CN, SQL, Linux and other Java Programming Basics. First there will be Mercer and Mettl Assesmment portal.
