The scheduling process was smooth and the interviewer was polite. The interview lasted around 20–30 minutes and mostly focused on my previous experience as a virtual assistant, how I manage tasks remotely, and how I communicate with clients.
I felt the interview went well and I answered the questions clearly based on my experience supporting executives and handling administrative tasks remotely.
A few days later, I received an email saying they would not move forward because my communication skills were not a fit for the role. This feedback was surprising because my background involves working with international clients and communicating in English daily.
While I respect the company’s decision, I noticed that other candidates online mentioned receiving similar feedback, including people who are native English speakers. Because of this, the rejection reason felt a bit unclear.
Overall, the process was organized, but I believe clearer and more specific feedback would help candidates understand where they truly need to improve.
