It was typical, introduce yourself, answer a few questions about your experience, and then teach a 10 slide lesson to an adult acting as a young student. As a certified English teacher, I thought I would have been a good fit for this position, but never received a call back. I've read a few reviews about this company being racially biased. Although I'm not sure if that is the case, I am surprised with my experience and flexibility that I was not contacted (with an offer or not) back, especially when I was told I would receive a response within 2 business days.

Simple and straight forward. During the interview you get a task where you have to role play with the interviewer. The interviewer will pretend to be the student and you have to teach the student for a few minutes.

Easy, laid back. Not too difficult to understand. Come prepared. Once you are prepared and have your props, never drop your smile or use voice drag. You won’t make it.

It was easy for me. I am familiar with online ESL companies from China so it wasn’t difficult to transfer that experience to this company. The interviewer asked about my experience, how many classes I taught and then we went into the demo class. If suggestions are necessary to help you pass she will make them and you would restart the demo. If not you don’t need to finish the demo and they’ll will in a few days send you the contract.
