J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Magellan AI (New York, NY) en sept. 2025
Entretien
First interview: informal 15 minutes
Second step: take home assignment
Second interview: 90 minutes, 3 people, it was NOT disclosed there would be another assessment and was a complete surprise
Third interview: Another assessment and an additional 30 minutes with the CEO.
Final steps: CEO said they would keep me posted. Two weeks passed by with no communication so I followed up with the hiring manager and was given no response at any point.
Effectively ghosted by an organization that has shown little respect and regard for the time, effort and intentionality a candidate has put in.
As a CSM, one of the attributes of the job description was an opportunity to become an expert in Sheets/Excel; however, the interview process expects that technicality to already be there. If you’re not already an advanced user, you will not be a good fit for this role.
Overall an extremely disappointing experience with a company I had been following and interested in for quite a few years. Now, would never consider working with or for them as they’ve made their ethics apparent in the hiring process.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Drilled down on data QC & reconciliation experience from my resume. Standard copy/paste questions in the 15 minute interview (where do you see yourself in 5 years, tell me about your background, etc).

This interview was for a remote position, so all steps were completed online:
I was offered an initial interview which I first had with the founder of the company.
Three days later I was informed that we would be moving forward with the process and I was provided an at-home spreadsheet exercise. Upon submitting the completed exercise, the next day I was offered a followup with members of the team to see how I navigate the product’s interface and troubleshoot.
After that interview, there was a final step of meeting with the Chief Revenue Officer, which we scheduled the next day. Two days after that interview, I was given a verbal offer and asked to provide my references. A few days after that, I was provided with an official offer letter.
