Question 1
Since they already had my resume and I had prior experience, the questions were just about if I could work late and on weekends. It was a chatty conversation to see if I was personable, more than asking me about my retail experience.

Entretien
It was a short interview. They asked if I can work any day during the holiday seasons. The answer had to be yes since that was the purpose of hiring temporary staff.

Entretien
After filling out an online form, uploading a resume and completing a questionnaire, I was sent an acknowledging email that allowed me to schedule an interview. I did so and a few days later met one on one with the manager of the store. She asked me a few questions, which related to ethics in the workplace and how I would deal with certain situations. The questions were appropriate and were not difficult to answer. Towards the end of the interview it was clear I was considered over qualified for the job I was applying for and was asked if I would consider a more senior supervisory role than the sales position offered. I said yes and that I was very interested in that. I was told I would be contacted the following week. Two days later, on Monday, I received an email indicating I was not suitable for the sales position, which I was already clear on. I am still hopeful I will be contacted by the manager in regards to the supervisory position. I found the interview clear, well presented and friendly, and very professional. There were many others waiting in line to be interviewed when I left. My only complaint is that during the online application, an attempt to collect my Social Security number and birth date was made by a web site data firm located in London England. I was given a no repercussions choice to decline and I did. Still, I'm cautious in providing that information to anyone online, and most firms do not ask for it then and there, but later in the hiring process. From my years in IT I knew to watch where my online screens were redirected during the application process and when I saw the particular screen in question I looked it up and it was overseas. Something worth watching out for.
