J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Macy's (Pasadena, TX) en mars 2009
Entretien
i got a call from macy's secretary, she asked some preliminary questions. the main one i remember was "macy's asks all associates to meet a quota for credit applications every week. do you have any objections to asking customers to apply for a macy's card?" . you must say this is no problem or they won't call you in for an interview.
at the interview the sales manager asked me questions from a printout and wrote my answers on this. the questions were the usual sales questions...."tell me about how you have convinced a client to buy a product", etc. but one question was strange......."tell me about why you chose the outfit you are wearing today".....she was a little uncomfortable with asking that one, but said it was to show selling skills. she even showed it to me and yes, it really did ask that one. i answered by saying "the jacket i choose to wear today has short sleeves due to the humid climate of the houston area, yet is professional enough for wearing to a interview. these qualities of the jacket lets me focus my attention on the interview itself rather than how uncomfortable/hot/sweaty i am, so that i can put my best foot forward." i was offered a job before leaving this interview.

Question 1
"tell me why you chose the outfit you are wearing today?"
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.

The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
