I applied online and instantly got an email confirming my application saying that it was under review. The next morning I got an email saying to schedule and interview at my earliest connivence so I then scheduled it for two days later so I could study all the questions here to prepare myself for the interview. When I arrived to the employment office 20 minutes early, I walked up to guy that was sitting at the front desk telling him I had an interview (email said to check in before interview started) he just looked at me and said "oh you'll be interviewing with the HR manager you can pop in her office and see if she was there" she was, but I was still early so I just waited in a chair in the waiting area.. He didn't ask me my name, what time my interview was.. NOTHING. He just put his headphones back on and kept listening to music like I wasn't even there basically ignoring me. So then once it was time for my interview I walked back to her office myself and told her who I was. So then at my scheduled interview time, I didn't end up interviewing with the HR manager, I interviewed with a department manager. He was really nice and friendly! He is now my manager :) He asked me all questions I found on here so i'm really glad I prepared myself. He then asked me what department I wanted to work in... Basically his department was the only department that was hiring which was mens furnishings (button ups & ties) a department I definitely don't see myself working in, but i'm going to have to adjust! He job offered me as soon as he found out what department was hiring. Overall I was there for about 45 minutes. Im going back to Macy's in 4 days to complete my paperwork and orientation!
