Then there is a critical thinking assessment and a retail math assessment with a formula sheet it’s very simple. Next there was a video chat interview on 10 questions on analytical situations or scenarios. Mainly how you Work with teams and display leadership skills. Some people say this is a long process but it was all within a few weeks for me, I might’ve applied late. If you do well you will be invited to an on-site. The first day is meeting with executives and other EDPs. You will then do an assessment in store and take note of your observations such as merchandising, size and color penetration, trends, and how the company core values are implemented. RESEARCH! understand the magic of Macy’s and the North Star strategy. The next day there is 2 interviews, one on your observations the other on your experiences. Then a retail math assessment and followed by a case study with other members. this is to understand how you work with others and your understandings of retail concepts. This is challenging but worth it! I got the offer within a week. Do your research and understand retail concepts especially for buying and planning.
