J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Macy's (Rockaway, NJ) en juin 2012
Entretien
At first, I applied for Macy's Ledgewood and was denied an interview saying my availability didn't coincide with theirs. Then I expanded my availability hours and applied to Macy's Rockaway and was offered an interview. I selected an interview day and time from an online schedule and came in on the day I was supposed.
I wore all black to the interview (just like employees are supposed to wear).
Interview was very easy. The manager came in, brought me to a small room in the back offices that was crowded with shelves, a desk, papers etc. She looked over my file (didn't do it beforehand) and then read off questions from a sheet.
The thing about this interview was that it was more like a lesson instead of an interview. She'd ask a question, I'd answer it, and then she'd nod her head and then explain in further detail if she felt like she wanted to talk.
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.

The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
