J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Macy's (Fort Myers, FL) en sept. 2011
Entretien
I filed out an online application and received a phone call 2 days later. I was given a time and date for a 1:1 interview. I arrived 10 min early and waited 10 more min for my interviewer to show up. It looked like Macys had brought in several HR people to do multiple interviews all day. Mine arrived flustered and with several pieces of paper falling out of her purse. We went into an office and sat down across a desk from each other. After asking the first question she realized she did not have a pen to write down my responses. She had to leave the room to find one. The interview was short and terrible, just your average questions. Why Macys? Full or part time? There were 8 questions and during number 6 she took a call on her cell phone. "Yes, i am trying to hurry", and "I will be done very soon" were her replies to whomever was on the other end. After 6 minutes she said thank you and got up. She said she would turn my answers in and they would be in touch. 2 days later i received an email saying they did not have a position for me. All in all, a really bad experience.
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.

The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
