The interview experiences shared here by others is accurate. I experienced all of the oddities and negative parts people documented. Here's a summary: - A recruiter reached out to me about interviewing for an Engineering role. - I have my first interview with someone from that engineering team a few days later. - No correspondence from anyone for 3 weeks until a get a frantic call from the recruiter saying they'd like to move forward. - I send multiple days of availability for 3 rounds of interviews in one day but hear nothing from them until after the last date of availability I sent. This time they're asking for more availability. - I get scheduled and complete the 3 rounds of interviews in one day. They go well. - I am moved to the final round and have a final interview scheduled. - I receive a call less than 24 hours before the interview saying they're moving in another direction. I get it. The market has flipped and it's an employer market now. While that should not justify this level of lacking professionalism, this is what is currently happening. Yes, this might be the worst experience I've had during this current process of job hunting, but it is not a unique experience to MX unfortunately. If you decide to interview here, govern yourself accordingly.

Started to apply, but then the HR software wanted my Facebook profile and several references. Gathering online information, within reasonable limits such as LinkedIn, is fine, but this is a gross overreach. Also, asking for references upfront is unprofessional, yes, a lot of companies do that now, it is a disturbing trend. When HR contacts your references before deciding whether or not to meet you, they send a clear message: "I will happily use up your reference-givers' time checking you out rather than potentially waste a half-hour talking with you directly." I was disappointed in that I was really excited to apply to this company, but already, there are too many red flags. I recommend this company take another look at how their online application can come across as invasive and disrespectful...
