I applied online and within a week received a call offering me an in-person interview. I was told that the interview would be with one of their supervisors and the Director. When I showed up I was greeted by the Supervisor. I was then asked to wait as the Director was in the middle of something. After 15 minutes of waiting I was told by the Supervisor that the Director wasn't going to make it because "something came up". I was fine with that, but felt she could have at least came out of her office to greet me and apologize personally. Either way, not a huge deal for me. The interview went great and I was told they would be in touch. I received a call later that evening from the Director asking me to meet her early the next morning as she was going out of town the same day. It was very last minute and unfortunately I did not have childcare and couldn't make it. She said that was unfortunate and that someone should be calling me back. To this day I have not received a call. It was disappointing because I really feel MVNA does great work. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and honestly I don't think it was the right time/job for me. I just wish I would have at least received a call back versus 2 months later getting a postcard in the mail explaining they chose another candidate. I figured by now.
