Role is with Mitsubishi UFJ trust, which is a completely separate subsidiary of MUFG. Interview is conducted in their office where the dealing desk sits. Office is small and looks more like a boiler room, nothing like any other established global financial institution I have seen. No reception area, you need to ring the bell outside. Had the 2nd interview with the female manager as well as their CEO, which I had the utmost displeasure of meeting. CEO was highly disinterested and disengaging throughout the interview. Kept fidgeting and kept almost no eye contact throughout. Asked personal questions about family and history which seemed to have no relation to the job. Very blunt in his comments as well. Overall the most unprofessional interview experience I had which speaks volumes of the culture. Fortunately, prior to the interview I read the comments in Glassdoor posted by other users so this did not come as a surprise (grateful for your contributions, paying it forward now). On the positive side, the female manager was pleasant and professional which acted somewhat as a buffer, otherwise I would have walked out midway. 2nd interview ran for 15-20min. Expected it to be longer and more in depth but turned out to be not much different from the first interview. First interview was about 10min. Whole process feels like they are running a factory line, interviewing as many people in the shortest time possible which makes me wonder about the level of turnover and job security.

Went for a graduate event, had some games where they will give you a token if they like you. Followed by interview with CEO, then head of sales. Required you to have desk observation and interact with the salespersons
