There were a lot of unnecessary questions and it took more than 2 hours. I'm not sure why you need to tell your whole life story—from your elementary days, to high school and college. It's really strange and I've never been to an interview like that. It can potentially create biases irrelevant to the job requirements.
The interviewer might be just using it to fill in her working hours.
Also, it was disappointing because they said that they were sure of the role would really be open sooon as they already have a marketing manager who is on a sick leave for more than a week. IF the marketing manager will be back, an assistant marketing manager role instead will be available.
They already had a time consuming IQ test in the beginning.
The interview was not particularly anything difficult but they've thrown questions that are so far out. Weird. It does not fit a background check for employment.
Basically, you have to repeat everything you've shared on your resume as she wants you to walkthrough all your responsibilities etc.
