The hiring process starts with a generic phone interview with an HR lady. The first interview went well and I was told that I would know within a week whether I pass through to the next round of interviews.
After a week goes by, I did not receive any news. I followed up with the same HR lady and was told that I was still in the hiring process but that she did not receive any feedback from the manager. She told me she would let me know my status when she knows more.
A month goes by...nothing. After seeing that the company re-posted an ad for the same position, I contacted HR again asking for an update. After two days, I received an email saying she had asked the manager and that I was not chosen for another interview with no other feedback.
Disappointment aside, there needs more transparency in the hiring process. Being transparent when recruiting lets potential candidates know you're honest, professional and that you care about their experience, regardless of whether or not you hire them. Including a salary range would also be beneficial.
Your interview team doesn't follow a structured interview process, which left me hunting down for answers myself. Better communication between the HR department and candidates needs to be implemented to clearly communicate the hiring timeline so that there can be a more positive experience, regardless if you get the job or not.
