The "interview process" at MCN was, to say the last, utterly bizarre and grossly unprofessional. I applied on line in early January 2018 and received a call and was interviewed by phone. This person said he "did not feel comfortable talking with me about compensation" and had "a handful of others to interview." Two weeks later he called again and summoned me to an in person interview. I voiced my concern about the high number of scathing, negative reviews of this company posted on Glassdoor. com. He said it was the same "one or two people" which seemed unlikely (posting over a 7 year period?) He called my half dozen professional references and told me "they had great things to say about you." A week later I received an email from him saying, "I will send you an offer letter." While I thought that peculiar since we still had not discussed compensation, I said I would review the offer letter. He never sent one. Two days later he called at 5 pm on a Friday on voice mail saying, "I'll call you on Monday morning to discuss the position. I have you on my calendar." Have a great weekend! That was a month ago. Never heard from the guy. There is no excuse for this unprofessional handling. I fully understand why MCN has all those negative Glassdoor.com reviews saying "stay away from this company!" That is wise advice.
