Pretty straightforward. They will want to get you in there really quickly so they make it seem really urgent over the phone. Other than that anyone with a pulse will get an invite back for an obs day.

Entretien
An informal telephone interview was conducted, looking towards the short-term. Are you interested in this particular issue, and do you think you'd like to work with us on it? Do you happen to have a college degree? Can you come in for an interview tomorrow?
Given all of the above in the affirmative, the question becomes "can you come in tomorrow for an interview?" The 1-on-1 interview became a short series of one-on-ones in a shell game of confusion about who's on first, what's the real deal, and who's in charge. If you have any ability to speak and stand on your feet and justify political advocacy, as long as you're ambulatory, you're good to go.
Take away a packet and be prepared to 'perform' and practice a script to deliver. I consider this the 'audition' part of the interview, even though the 'audition' itself happens when you return. Again, the basic standard to start is fairly loose. If you can walk and begin to learn by rote, you are promising. You have three days to begin to haul in the requisite donations to pay your own salary for a week's work in three days' time, and if you don't they will cut their losses as soon as they can. As per the agreement or sooner if you will agree to it.

Question 1
What would you say if someone told you they prefer to leave the decision-making to their congressmen?
