The interview was not bad, I had to reschedule my initial and they did, but picked my next time versus giving options? They asked a lot of questions related to the position and skill set needed, which I really appreciated. I could tell with the questions asked that a lot of things fell through the cracks and a lot of cleanup was needed. They asked when I could start, I told them mid next week, I was asked “why not Monday?”……because I am unable to or I would have? Also was not given an opportunity to ask any questions regarding the role or firm. As others say, the firm uses key logging and performance software installed on computers to track mouse clicks and sites visites which that kind of micromanagement doesn’t sit well with me. They also presented a starting offer that was less then what I requested. I did counter and they did match me, so that was a positive. Accepted the offer and starting date. I reached out to let them know I needed to push the start date back just a day to finish up follow up appointments that I needed to go too. I was told that i am unable to and I need to be there on the agreed date and time, that their system can’t change the start date and In bold, I should have told them last week that I needed a different date, when I let them know it was unexpected follow ups I needed to have scheduled after initial appointments. I found it highly bizarre that I was being chastised and hadn’t even started with them, and they didn't bat an eye that it was medical appointments as the reason. None of this sat well with me and we mutually agreed this would not be beneficial for either of us. You are supposed to be hiring professionals, maybe treat them like it and you might just start retaining talent. EDIT - Responding to this firm. 1. I rescheduled once, im unsure of where you are getting multiple, let’s not try to paint a narrative that is not true. 2. Thats correct, sometimes you are at a medical facility for an extended amount of time, so you may get an email the day before. 3. If a person is not able to be there, they are unable to be there. That doesn’t mean just onboarding. I have never heard of a “system” being unable to change a start date. That is when your staff sent a highlighted and bold message to me. I get to decide where I work and where staff does not behave that way. I decided after your firm gave me 10 minutes to be there to complete onboarding that this is not a good fit. 4. I am many things, but one thing I am is honest. Your response is not the truth and I am a little taken back at the response and how skewed it is, as a firm supposedly fighting for “justice”, you would think the truth should come easier from you, not harder. Read the reviews prospective employees, you will be able to see the type of atmosphere you could potentially be walking into.

First and foremost, we want to express our commitment to professionalism and excellence in our team. We value reliability and dependability as crucial qualities in all our employees, as they directly contribute to the exceptional service we provide our clients. Throughout your interview and initial onboarding, you made several attempts to reschedule set appointments. Of particular importance is the fact that you notified our Administrative Department at 7 pm the night before that you could not make it to your first day. Consistent rescheduling and last-minute changes can pose challenges in ensuring the smooth functioning of our firm and raise concerns about your reliability and ability to provide excellent client satisfaction. Moreover, when we tried to accommodate your late request by only asking you to come in and fill out your onboarding paperwork, we were given an attitude that is absolutely not reflective of the type of person we want to represent our firm. It is for these reasons that we decided you would not be a good fit for MAS Law and our clients. Thank you.

Short and sweet. The guy that interviewed me, Omer? clearly didn’t know what he was talking about. You can tell that he doesn’t know much about person injury. Really he just wants someone that is self motivated and young. That’s all he cared about.
