Initially I was contacted and asked to reply to some fake emails from people applying to drive from Lyft. Make sure your reply's aren't too stiff! They don't want a message that AI could write, they want some personality in it! I was contacted via email about 5 days after sending that in and asked to come to their Nashville office for an onsite interview. The interview was extremely relaxed. I interviewed with six people in total, two associates, two specialists, and two leads. The interview started with a brief overview by one of the team leads about what the job would entail and what Lyft's culture is like. Make sure you pay attention, because you'll probably be asked about which of Lyft's three core values (Be Yourself, Uplift others, and Make it Happen) you connect with the most! In the interview with the associates the questions were mostly to judge how I might fit on the team. They were both very laid back and it felt more like just a chat with two friends than a job interview. Next I interviewed with one of the team leads. She mostly asked questions about work related experiences and potential issues you might have. This was the most nerve-racking part of the interview for me, but it was still more relaxed than most other interviews I've been through. And finally I met with two specialists who work on the Outreach Innovations team. They asked a mixture of personal questions to see how I'd fit with the team and work related questions about past experiences. Two days after the interview I was called and offered the position. I started working at Lyft two weeks later!

It was a smooth interview process. Every person that interviewed me was expectional. I felt welcomed and appreciated throughout the entire process. They were also very respectful of my time. Starting and ending on time.
