J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lyft (San Francisco, CA) en sept. 2018
Entretien
Got to the third round of phone screens with the recruiter, director, and hiring manager. Director kept yawning during the interview (it was painfully audible over the phone) and hiring manager was incredibly rude (at times, it felt almost condescending) and did not leave time for me to ask questions. Instead, the interviewer insisted we were out of time and they were about to get kicked out of a room. Overall, the interviewer was not considerate of time, and it felt like it was a one-way interview where they were judging the candidate's fit, with no consideration for the candidate to assess the company's fit on their end as well.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lyft en janv. 2025
Entretien
The interview process was very organized and positive overall. First, I had a 30-minute call with the recruiter who walked me through the role, the team structure, and asked about my background and interest in Lyft. Second was a 30-minute conversation with the hiring manager where we discussed my past experience, what I was looking for in my next role, and how I approach problem-solving. After that, I received a take-home financial modeling assessment in Excel that included a few case-based questions. It was a good mix of forecasting, scenario analysis, and business judgment. Finally, I had four 30-minute interviews in one day with different team members. Each focused on different areas such as technical skills, business acumen, culture fit, and how I work cross-functionally. Everyone I spoke with was welcoming, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about the work they do!
