do a scenario acting out a customer instore. talk about store
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lush (Birmingham, Angleterre) en sept. 2017
Entretien
The process took about 2 to 3 weeks. First I was invited to a group interview, then a trial shift a few days later. \the group interview consisted on 4 types of demos which was Perfumes, Massage Bars, Face products and Hair products. We basically got shown how to demo these and then paired up and demoed them on each other. We got marked on listening, personality, confidence, body language ect and we got marked out of 5. Those who got a score of 3-5 on each part went through to the next stage which was a trial shift. The trial shift was quite difficult, we had to have guidance from a manger about who to speak to and what tasks to do, basically instead of using initiative in case a member of staff had already approached that customer. DEMOS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND!! I did about 4-5 demos and sold a few products so I think that may be how I got the job?? ( I was really nervous at the start because I wanted the job so bad hahaha). Just chill, be yourself and let yourself shine :)

Why do you want to work for LUSH?

Everyone's process is different with LUSH but during my process, I had a normal one-to-one interview which got the employer to know me more. I also had a trial shift.

Group interview, where you're split into groups and cycle through different tasks manned by different staff members. Some may include doing hand/arm massages, roleplaying a demo of products and explaining it to customers, or showing proof of active listening. If successful, onwards to a trial shift where you'll have an hour to work on the shop floor and showcase your ability approaching customers - basically a tester of how you'd likely perform if hired (so give it your best, if you're too quiet or nervous and not proactive you won't get the job).
Not the most neurodivergent friendly process however.

Question 1
The group interview isn't really done via questions. You'll be likely just be observed and judged that way.
