J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lucytech (Colombo, ) en juin 2025
Entretien
I had an interview with LucyTech for a Senior Software Engineer role. The discussion went fine at first, but things shifted when we started talking about salary.
The role itself seems to expect quite a lot — coding, QA, and DevOps all bundled together — but when I asked about compensation, they weren’t open to sharing what the average salary is in the local market. When I mentioned my take-home expectation, the conversation became a bit awkward.
I was given a two-week assignment, which I completed and submitted within the timeline. After review, the assignment was rejected with some feedback. While I found certain points to be valid and constructive, there were also aspects of the feedback that I believe were not entirely accurate or justified.

J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lucytech

After the application, I got a screening call from one of the HR representatives from the company. But application was declined on client side.
Overall I would say I like how the HR handles the interview process. They were so nice and even gave a call to explain what happened and sent an email afterwards to clearly concluded the process.
