Applied online through Indeed, received a call back within a couple days to set up an interview. Since they had a new center opening in the area they seemed very proactive about getting a good pool of candidates so that may have sped up the interview process. Interviewed with an HR Manager who seemed impressed with my qualifications and said he'd like to move me forward in the process and asked if I was available to come in for a group event the following week, I acknowledged I was available and he said he would be in contact. Didn't hear anything back until 12:20 am the morning of the event letting me know the particulars and was expected to be available at 9:00 am that morning. Obviously didn't get the email until I woke up at 7:00 am and had figured the night before when I didn't hear back that they had moved forward with other candidates. Needless to say I was a little disappointed that they obviously put little value on the time and life balance of their candidates. Even though the company seemed like a very good cultural fit I would have to give serious consideration to reapplying or accepting an offer.
