J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lucid Motors (Newark, CA) en mars 2024
Entretien
1. Call with recruiter where he surprisingly asked some basic engineering equations - Young's modulus, Ohm's Law, Electrical Power, Hooke's Law.
2. Second call with hiring manager where we went through work experience, nothing outside of that.
3. Panel interview with presentation. 10min presentation followed by questions. 4 panels with 2 interviewers in each panel. Full technical questions ranging from background to scenarios they are working on.
All interviewers were very friendly. They are very in depth, which is good.

An HR recruiter reached out to me over the phone first to schedule the meeting/interview with an engineer. In the interview process, I was asked a series of six engineering questions. The questions were focused on sheet loss under normal engine conditions efficiency loss, SIMULINK principles and power transfer in a car. Even though the topics were engineering related the way that the question was formed was to test how I can explain those topics.

What is a unit step in a SIMULINK simulation and how would you be able to find it using the material properties of your system?

Asked general questions about functionality of automotive components.
Got interviewed by CEO as well who asked general questions. Really smart guy but uncomfortable to interact with.
Other software engineers were more relaxed.
