The interview process with the company started very positively. The recruiter provided all the necessary information about the position and gave feedback quickly throughout the early stages. During the first interview, the recruiter asked many theoretical questions related to business analysis.
At the second stage, I had an interview with the Head of Business Analysis. It was an interesting situational discussion, and the manager made a strong impression as a professional with deep expertise in the field.
The third stage was with the Head of Engineering. This interview also included many situational and theoretical questions, particularly related to technologies. At the same time, the conversation itself was pleasant, supportive, and constructive.
After these two stages, the recruiter called me and shared positive feedback. He mentioned that, based on the interviews, they saw a strong cultural match and considered my BA skills to be solid. He also said that the company was ready to mentor me on the technical side if necessary. At that point, the next stage was described as a coffee chat with a senior team member I would potentially work with, mainly to confirm the cultural fit with the team.
However, for unclear reasons, the following interview was instead arranged with the VP of Product. During this conversation, many of the same questions discussed previously with the Head of BA were repeated. I answered all the questions, and the interviewer consistently agreed with my responses. Toward the end of the conversation, she explained that the entire development process in the company was expected to be heavily AI-driven and asked whether I was comfortable working in such an environment. I answered that I was, and the interview ended shortly afterward.
After that stage, there was no feedback from the recruiter for quite a long time. I eventually followed up, and instead of personal feedback, I received an automatic rejection through the ATS system without any explanation, despite the recruiter previously promising to provide feedback.
I later requested more detailed feedback by email but never received a response. I also contacted the recruiter through LinkedIn. He replied that he would definitely send feedback, but ultimately no feedback was ever provided.
