I was contacted by by the company via a job board to interview for the position in question. A few days later I spoke with the recruiter where shes asked me basic questions regarding my experience. From there, I was told that I would be contacted about next steps by the end of the week. That time frame passed and I didnt receive any notification. I then proceeded to contact the intervieweragain asked for an update about my candidacy. Her response was that I would not be moving forward simply because there were other people further along in the process and had nothing to do with my skills as a designer. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, especially since she was the one who contacted me about the opportunity. This is a poor representation of your company and how it views candidates/employees.
