Lobster Ink is an international company based out of the Netherlands and South Africa. They have no staff and or presence in the United States (that they were able to speak of during my interview). This interview was for a PM role managing one of their large hotel clients in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. I went through a phone screen, Skype video conference with the recruiter/manager/Project Manager and then a Skype conference with Maarten Van Gool and Wolfgang. There seemed to be little to no direction with their interview process and it was difficult to understand their corporate culture and value. I found Wolfgang and Maarten to be repetitive in their questioning. Maarten swore during the interview which I found to be unprofessional. I wouldn't have accepted an offer had they extended it. Their website is well built and Wolfgangs enthusiasm through their online videos definitely did not carry over into this interview. I answered a tremendous number of questions regarding my previous experience and I found the entire process to be exceedingly tedious given the limited scope of the position. Focus on your company culture, professionalism and establishing yourself in the United States.
