J'ai passé un entretien chez Lloyds Banking Group (Édimbourg, Écosse)
Entretien
First off had an unsuccessful email and then had an email to say I was actually successful for interview stage.
On receipt of this I emailed the hiring manager around the length of the interview as it was to entail an assessment, found out it was 90mins therefore due to other commitments I asked if I could change the time to later in the day.
Hiring manager phoned me and said how it’s not off to a good start and that we have already had 2 email exchanges, whereby I was looking to ensure I had suitable time. Then proceeded to say it’s not the great first impression and tone of voice used was very rude and a manner in which I was shocked. I was told I had been given more information than they should be. All the information I had received was a timescale of the interview and a time I couldn’t attend. The reason for asking to amend the time before I had confirmed wasn’t even asked before jumping to conclusions.
I am a diligent employee for my current employer and do the same role as advertised which is intense and critical. However I was made to feel like I’ve been an inconvenience.
I have a disability and quickly withdrew my application as this does indicate a red flag before the interview
Highly disappointed - the values and behaviour demonstrated on a short 2 minute call to arrange a suitable time did not align with LBGs etiquette.

Telephonic then ->Face to Face ->then Presentation followed by 1:1 and then called again for HR interaction -salary was on email ,The whole process was very systematic and each step was for gauging the skills as well as attitudes. The background checks were extensive and took about three to four weeks time. Joining was smooth and with lots of training.
