      Entretien

      LinkedIn approached me through their network and invited me to apply for the Account Executive position with their emerging market team in Dublin. The process was supposed to be composed of a phone interview with a recruiter, followed by a call with the hiring manager and another step, possibly 1:1 or a panel presentation. However, the discussion never progressed past the initial conversation. The recruiter promised a follow up and to answer some of my questions she couldn't answer while we spoke on the phone. This never happened; I wasn't turned down but neither invited for another round. The recruiter failed to respond to my subsequent email and phone enquiries. Additionally, LinkedIn uses Bluejeans conferencing facility to run the phone interviews. This proved to be highly problematic as the voice transmission through the data channel was patchy. LinkedIn made a very unprofessional impression on me. Not following up on the interview is a big no-no from my point of view, particularly since they earmarked me for the role themselves.

      Overall, the session was okay, but I believe the roleplay process could be improved. I felt that the person from LinkedIn leading the roleplay didn’t seem fully engaged, which made it a bit difficult to create a realistic or motivating scenario. Additionally, he mentioned that I should proceed with the second meeting without him, saying that another manager would update him anyway. Even when I offered to reschedule to ensure everyone could attend, his response was simply to go ahead without him. Later, during the feedback, I was told that I should have pushed the customer to either attend or reschedule the meeting so that all key stakeholders could be present, which felt a bit contradictory given the guidance during the session itself.not interested.

      Straight forward process. Interview with Recruiter, Hiring Manager and Panel. First interview was high level, second was more in depth, third interview gets very granular. Once you go through all interviews you may get invited to a forth and final, or an offer.

      Entretien

      3 stages, first interview was with teh recruiter, 2nd was with hiring manager and 3rd was with director and hiring manager. Fairly straightforward and fast moving. Communication was very clear throughout.
