Process overall felt unorganized. It took about two months to get a response and therefore forgot about the role. During the first screening call and subsequent calls, they kept apologizing for the delay in the process, which felt strange. The recruiter would frantically schedule calendar invited without confirming a time and would laster cancel them. The role was ambiguous and both the recruiter and hiring manager could not articulate the KPIs or success factors of the job. Stale and somewhat bizarre process overall.

Entretien
Recruiter reached out to me 5+ weeks after applying, scheduled screening through Calendly tool. Typical screen asking about my experiences, motivations for making a change, situation-based interview questions.
Met with hiring manager a few days later and did not mesh well. Hiring manager interrupted me several times when answering questions, and talked positively about the group’s heavy workload. They signed off by saying thanks for your time and no mention of next steps.
This was not the right fit for me. The next steps, however, would have been a panel interview, then an interview with the groups VP.
This feels like a very lean organization with a high workload and hires for operational roles only when they start to burst at the seams.
