The interview started as a group orientation, after this candidates were called to meet the hiring manager one-on-one. It's a conservative environment with a company dress code and corporate standards. Personally, I found other candidates to be a bit competitive. There was an interesting quiz at the end. You fill out a written application during the group orientation phase. Quite a bit of paperwork, but worth the effort to take your time if you want the job. Each office is custom designed by Pottery Barn, appearance is very important to this company.

There is an online spelling and reading assessment (done in a group) with a follow-up in person interview with the center director at the location you apply to. You should hear from HR roughly 24 hours after completing the online assessments regarding next steps.

There are 2 literacy exams and had a follow-up to meet with the center for a more formal interview asking about experience with education, tutoring, or any kind of childcare.

A lot of personality questions and a “technical” interview which involved. Spelling test and a reading comprehension test that had increasingly difficult passages. I would say they felt closes to the act ELA section
