Dr. Avis is an authentic person who speaks what she sees, and is at the same time kind and warm. She draws trainees out and helps them see what they already know without shaming. She has a wealth of experience as well that she generously shares in an often funny and warm way. It was hard to think of moving on from her training. I learned so much.
