Very straightforward process.
One person interviewed me and asked a few questions.
Did not last more than an hour, if that.
I had one interview and then an offer was made.
Very straightforward. Questions asked were why do you want to work at lidl? Essentially checking to see what skills from previous roles would be useful for the job. Manager was friendly, but no nonsense, so attend the interview having rehearsed all questions and thoroughly reading cv and job description.
Phone interview and then in person interview. Pretty quick and easy and doesn’t take long to hear back. Questions are pretty standard like ‘why Lidl?’ and ‘what’s your favourite item we sell’. Also a few scenario based questions.
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lidl (Cardiff, Pays de Galles) en janv. 2026
Entretien
Really nice manager and chill atmosphere. Didn't ask me any scenario based questions or any that I had to provide a "star" like paragraph; more focused on how prepared/ committed/ able you are to do a lot of work.
