J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Library of Congress (Washington, DC) en mars 2014
Entretien
The hiring process was very long. From the close date on USAjobs to an initial offer, it was almost 6 months.
Round 1: The job closed on January 22. I got called in mid March for an interview to come in the following week. The interview was with the manager and two of her direct reports. They asked the questions directly from the usajobs free response (SDLC etc). There were no behavioral questions at all.
Round 2: I got a call back in mid-May to give a couple example project documents that I had completed. I gave a project charter and a project schedule.
Round 3: I got a call in late June to come in and meet the boss' boss. It was a one-on-one conversation but was more of an informal interview. It was a "tell me about yourself" kind of deal. They also want to know why you want to the work for the Library and that you'll be a good fit.
News: Found out about 1 week later that I got the job. Start date could not be negotiate and I had 0 time off in between jobs.
They ended up hiring three people for a one person slot.
