      Entretien

      The only positive thing about this experience was how quickly it went along. Took test which was over an hour then I was contacted by a recruiter to set up phone interview which I set up for a couple of days later. Phone interview was about 45 minutes and had some challenging questions. Moved onto the next phase which consisted of a long, in-office interview and job shadow. Everything seemed great. I was perfectly qualified, answered each question with ease and confidence, seemed to mesh well with the staff, and felt that I undoubtedly would contribute value to the company. For some reason they decided not to offer me the position for their training program which was confusing. When I asked for reasoning, they would not give me any information. Disappointing and time consuming, to say the least.

      Phone screening went well initially, but the screener sounded rushed and uninterested in any response I gave. She was short and cut me off when I asked questions about the company and position. I was told that I would get an email with the next steps or a rejection “within the next 48-72 hours” after the call. After hearing nothing after a week, I sent an email, where the recruiter stated that they were waiting on the hiring manager and would get back to me the next day. When I reached out the next day, the recruiter had an auto email stating she was out of office for the rest of the holidays. The only way I knew my application was declined was through the application portal. No further contact from the recruiter was given after weeks. Overall, the process with the recruiter and her behavior was a bit hostile and extremely unwelcoming compared to other companies I have interviewed for. Interestingly, the job is still up for applications.
